This camera works as it should because come with the USB power cable pretty long cable probably obviously 25 or 30 feet if I had to guess more than enough to tuck behind trim and molding and what have you this camera will is to be connected by downloading the Garmin app to your phone and then you connect the camera to the app that will allow you to view. Live video feed as well as download and playback video that is stored.
